The Chinese Crested dog "Elwood" appears at the 2007 World's Ugliest Dog Contest Friday, June 22, 2007, in Petaluma, Calif. Elwood, who weighs in at just 6 lbs and was rescued as the result of a New Jersey SPCA investigation, has won the title of World's ugliest dog of 2007.

Vor 60 Jahren wurde der erste Ferrari vorgestellt: Das Modell 125 Sport mit 1,5 Liter Hubraum und zwölf Zylindern wurde ein sehr erfolgreiches Rennauto- Bereits beim zweiten Rennen, dem Großen Preis in Rom am 25. Mai 1947 jagte der Wagen als Erster über die Ziellinie - es folgten noch sechs weitere Siege im Premierenjahr. Und von Beginn an löste die Scuderia Ferrari Emotionen aus. Nicht nur bei den Zuschauern, sondern auch bei den Mitarbeitern des Teams.
Vor dem Start des Gran Promio d'Italia in Monza 1950 feuerten die Alfa-Romeo-Anhänger den auf der Pole Position stehenden Juan Manuel Fangio an. Neben ihm wurde Alberto Ascari lautstark von den Ferraristi gepuscht. Für einen war dies zu viel - Ferrari-Motoreningenieur Aurelio Lampredi fiel vorübergehend in Ohnmacht.
