Growing up inner city Watts California Kevin never imagined himself as an athletic icon especially in track and field However in high school after joining the track and field team it was clear that Kevin had the talent for speed and agility In the 1992 Barcelona Olympic games Kevin earned a gold medal and became the new world record holder for the 400m hurdles at 4678 seconds After mental and physical preparation for the Barcelona Olympic games Kevin knew he could focus on the goal and beat the 11year standing world record for the 400m hurdles 15 years later his world record still holds at 4678 seconds Kevin Young was also just recently inducted into the Track and Field Hall of Fame in New York Visit Kevin Young on MOLIcom
